Happy Tuesday! How have you been since last Tuesday? I’ve been busy as per usual – there as Valentine’s day which was just chill (and my hubby got me some gorgeous Kenyan Roses), a Ceilidh on Friday and off to Wakanda on Saturday to see Black Panther. Don’t worry, I won’t ruin the movie for you if you haven’t seen it. It is very good with a lot of great messages, a stunning Marvel movie and (I hope) will bring more diversity in the movie industry from now on.
So the reason this blog post is called Wakanda is because of these trousers. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know that I wore these to go and see Black Panther. They are sooooo comfortable and I got them the last time I went to Ghana back in 2014 (can’t believe it’s nearly 4 years!) I love the patchwork combinations on this and the fact it has an elasticated high waist. However I do wish that there were belt holds on this because the waistline does drop quite easily.
And here’s a bonus pic. I thought I’d add it to this bunch as the top is the same… and it keeps with the African theme with the headwrap.
Well… that’s a wrap for this edition of Outfit Diaries. Thank you to Abigail Roots for this collaboration. See more of her work via her website and Instagram which will be mentioned below.
Until next time, stay peaceful and blessed. Pursue your dreams intentionally and inspire others to do the same. PEACE!
