YOU ARE ENOUGH | HEADWRAP DIARIES

Welcome back, or if you are here for the first time…

Before I get into this post, I have been so HYPED about Bitmoji Deluxe and I think it’s because:

  1. The Sims was my favourite computer game. I loved the way you could customise people and be super creative with houses.
  2. Snapchat upgraded the hair style choices!!! Sure Bitmoji had the natural looking up-do and TWA, but the deluxe has more choice. They looked out for us natural ladies!

I would really love to that Jess Bevan for this headwrap diaries collaboration. I’m quite sad this has come to an end but I’m looking forward to the project! Today I have come to give you some words of motivation and encouragement:

You are ENOUGH, beautifully & intricately created and loved.

You are unique. Don’t be influenced to be someone else. It’s ok to follow someone else’s journey as long as you don’t try to make it your own. Take a few points and modify them for your own life.

You are stunning and don’t let anybody tell you differently – the beauty industry, the fitness industry, the media – NO ONE. Own your uniqueness. there is no one else like you.

The remnants of those scars you have endured in the past should remind you how far you have come. Do not allow them to make you feel like you are unworthy of joy and peace. Don’t be ashamed of them – sometimes it’s good for you to let them show. Let any open wounds and early scars heal. Give them time to go away and stop picking at them. The more you do, the sorer they will get and the longer they will take to heal.

We all have our insecurities, but they shouldn’t be our focus. Instead of looking at the aspects you do like about yourself look at 2 or 3 qualities you love about yourself. If you find that hard, pick one. It’s a start. Whenever you begin to feel yourself drifting into the sea of negativity, remind yourself of that one positive characteristic. Allow that to be a light that shines in the darkness.

You are ENOUGH.

As you continue to find and call out the gold inside you, your demeanour will change. You’ll begin to smile more and walk with an air of confidence. People trying to talk you down won’t be so much of a problem and you’ll be able to look them in the eye and smile – knowing who you are and the strength you have.

Thanks for reading. I hope that I’ve been able to inspire you to make some kind of positive change today.

Stay peaceful and blessed. Remember to pursue your created and inspire others.
