Hello wonderful people. I hope you are doing so well today! It’s crazy how many of us seek perfection 24/7 but we need to understand that we are a work in progress. Life is for learning. We are allowed to makes mistakes and grow from them. Please don’t despise your beginnings. Embrace then, go forth and conquer in your field!
As I was preparing this post I was thinking of maybe adding a link to a song which I feel goes with this look, and funnily enough I thought of beautiful Ghanaian woman Diana Hamilton’s “Work in Progress” (Kente style headwrap = Ghana). Feel free to listen here as you enjoy the rest of this post. Some of the song isn’t in English but there are subtitles so that you get the gist of what is being said. However… be prepared to move your body as the beat is quite catchy.
If there is anything I LOVE about my Ghanaian heritage, it’s the boldness of colours in fabrics. This kente style headwrap is one of my faves and I decided to pair it with an equally as bold blue cami.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Out of the headwrap diaries with Jess Bevan so far, which look is your favourite? Take a look at my previous posts and let me know. Also don’t forget to check out more of Jess Bevan’s work.
Until next time, stay peaceful and blessed. Keep pursing and inspiring joy and greatness.
